Signal also said that “It has been adding new working servers and extra capacity at a record pace every single day in the current week constant, however, today outperformed even our most cheerful projections. Piles of crowds are sending messages that privacy & security matters.”
Near 30 lakhs of people downloaded the signal application. On 15th January, WhatsApp stated that “It has decided to postpone a privacy update due to lying causing stress among people. We are as of now moving back the date on which people will be drawn closer to review and recognize the terms. Nobody will have their account suspended on the 8th of Feb”.
“We are furthermore going to do substantially more to clear up the lie around how privacy and security work on the WhatsApp application. We will by then go to people bit by bit to study the technique at their own speed before new business choices are open on the 15th of May,”, WhatsApp added.
