TATA hand over 65 Units of Nexon EV to Kerala’s MVD

On 7 November, TATA Motors hand over 65 Units of Nexon EV to Kerala’s MVD (Motor Vehicle Department) in Thiruvananthapuram. TATA Motors have given this 65 units in a leased for 8 years to Kerala’s MVD (Motor Vehicle Department). The Kerala Government has initiated a ‘Safe Kerala’ program. The Kerala Govt will utilize these TATA Nexon electric vehicles for successfully directing the state’s traffic.

The electric vehicles will be rented by the Kerala’ Motor Vehicle Department from the Energy Services Limited through the Agency for New and Renewable Energy Research and Technology. Through this activity, the Kerala’s Motor Vehicle Department will have the option to ease around 650 tons of CO2 discharges and save money on the expenses of 2.2 lakh liters of diesel consistently.
