In an inviting choice that will affect a huge number of students in the field of scholastics, the Ministry of Education Ramesh Pokhriyal on the 3rd of June declared that the qualification of the school teacher’s Test TET degree will be stretched out from 7 yrs to a lifetime. The choice will be carried through with a review impact from 2011.
It would imply that each one of the individuals who have cleared the Teachers Eligibility Test since 2011 will have their degree justifiable for a lifetime and they would not be needed to step through the examination once more. Ramesh Pokhriyal stated that officially “Validity time of TET qualifying degree has been expanded from seven years to lifetime with review impact from 2011”.
“The individual State Governments and Union territories will make a fundamental move to revalidate or issue new teachers Eligibility Test certificates to those up-and-comers whose time of seven years has effectively slipped by”. Ramesh Pokhriyal also stated that it will be a good decision in expanding the employment opportunities for students seeking to make a profession in the teaching field.
TET is one of the fundamental certificates for an individual to be qualified for an appointment as a teacher in schools.
