MHA sends 4 members to investigate the post-poll violence in Bengal

On the 6th of May, The MHA stated that 4 people’s teams lead by an officer has left for West Bengal to investigate the post-poll violence in the state. “The four-member team will survey the deteriorating violence circumstance in West Bengal and will give a proper report to the Ministry of home affairs. After the TMC recorded the greatest triumph in Bengal assembly elections, post-poll violence grasped the West Bengal with its party workers running destruction and participating in disorder for the sake of triumph.

Both the Bharatiya Janata Party and the CPI(M) have affirmed reports of assaults on their party offices. Chief Minister of West Bengal has said the Bharatiya Janata Party was molesting individuals regardless of its loss. “We realize that the Bharatiya Janata Party and Central Govt’s forces have molested individuals. DSP of Birbhum Nagendra Tripathi stated that “The FB and Twitter posts over and over shared on various social media networks by a party cell since 3rd May, asserting that 2 women were assaulted in Nanoor and a lot more were attacked, were inspected by our team.
