Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) wants to fight alone in Bihar Assembly Elections 2020. The Lok Janshakti Party will not contest with Janata Dal United, the party announced this in Delhi after a parliamentary board meeting. The LJP party’s leader Chirag Paswan will fight the Bihar Assembly Elections on its own way. The mindset of going solo was placed by Chirag Paswan’s father Ram Vilas Paswan in November 2019 himself. During this COVID-19 pandemic, Chirag’s father was hospitalized for heart surgery in Delhi and after that his son took over as LJP President. After the decision taken by LJP Chirag Paswan told the media that he is happy with his decision. Ram Vilas Paswan said that, “Chirag has all the abilities to be the CM of Bihar. His time will definitely come… I told him to focus on 2025, not the 2020 Bihar Assembly Election polls. And one day, I am sure, Chirag will evince to be one of the best Chief Minister of Bihar has ever seen.”
The Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) makes a slogan of ‘Bihar First, Bihari First’ in their upcoming Bihar Assembly Elections. Due to the differences of ideologies with the Chief Minister’s Party JDU, LJP will against the JDU but LJP will support BJP as a field candidate. The party officially said that, “There can be difference of ideologies on many seats with the Nitish Kumar’s JDU, voters should be able to decide who they want as their candidate. The LJP wants to implement the Bihar and the two parties have not been able to reach a agreement on it,”
PM Modi also asked him about his father’s health. The LJP has clarified that it will continue to be a part of the NDA. Bihar will vote on October 28, November 3 and November 7. The results of the Bihar Assembly Elections 2020 will be announced on November 10.
