UP Govt stated that “A fire erupts close to the emergency unit or intensive treatment unit on the ground floor of the Govt Owned LPS Institute of Cardiology & Cardiac Surgery in Kanpur where on the 28th of March morning around 8 AM”. Ashwani Pandey also stated that “Almost 7 fire brigade vehicles were gone to the LPS Institute of Cardiology hospital. The whole hospital was loaded up with smoke, including that windows on the ground and the 1st floor was damaged to rescue the patients and medical staff.

UP CM Yogi Adityanath has taken notices of the fire case and told the police officials to rescue those patients. He likewise looked for a report from the district officials and created a team to go to the hospital.

LPS Institute of Cardiology & Cardiac Surgery in Kanpur is the largest heart treatment hospital in the Kanpur district. Patients from fifteen other districts are treated at this LPS Institute Of Cardiology, which as of late went through fast modernization.
