43 yrs old prisoner Mohammad Anish dies of Coronavirus

43 yrs old prisoner was under trial in Tihar Jail and he died, a day after he tested positive for Coronavirus. Mohammad Anish, in jail for the last 2 years for a criminal case under the IPC section Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, and was tested positive for Coronavirus on 26th April and was conceded to a hospital with coronavirus symptoms.

Sandeep Goel stated that “Today’s morning, his condition disintegrated and he alluded to Deen Dayal Upadhyay Hospital. Afterward, he died in the hospital”. This is the 3rd demise of Covid tainted jail detainees in New Delhi since the coronavirus pandemic started a year ago. Two Coronavirus-positive detainees of Mandoli jail died on the 15th of June and 4th July 2020.

As per information shared by the detainment facilities office, 267 detainees have tried positive for the Covid since Walk this year. Of them, twenty-two have recuperated and there are 245 active coronavirus cases.
