3 workers of India’s crude oil and gas Oil company ONGC were supposedly kidnaped in the early morning around 3 AM on 21st April from a supply site in Lakwa field, Sibsagar district in Assam, the Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited stated that the officials presume that the prohibited terrorist group ULFA-I is behind the kidnapping.

According to the news media, and Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited’s ambulance vehicle was utilized to abduct the 3 workers which were uncovered by the ambulance driver after he was free by the militants. The ambulance was found close to Nimonagarh Chariali near the Assam-Nagaland borderline.

The 3 individuals have been recognized as Mohan Gogoi Junior Technician from the Sivasagar district, Alokesh Saikia from the Jorhat district, and Ritul Saikia Junior engineer from Golaghat. Superintendent of Police Amitava Sinha stated that “The way in which they came and the manner in which they kidnap them in which it has been caused us to accept that it is the craftsmanship of the United Liberation Front of Assam. It must be some terrorist organization. We are suspecting the United Liberation Front of Assam militant group in light of the fact that that is the lone terrorist organization around here”.
