2020 Nobel Prize In Physics goes to Reinhard Genzel, Roger Penrose, Andrea Ghez

The Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences declared the 2020 Nobel Prize In Physics to Reinhard Genzel, Roger Penrose, Andrea Ghez. The secretary-general of the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences, Goran K. Hansson declared the beneficiaries. The award comes with a gold medal and prize money more than $1.1 million.

Roger Penrose designed innovative numerical techniques to investigate Albert Einstein’s overall general theory of relativity. He indicated that the theory leads to the development of black holes. Those beasts in time and space that catch all that enters them. Reinhard Genzel and Andrea Ghez found that an imperceptible and incredibly heavy item administers the circles of stars at the focal point of our system. A supermassive black hole is the only currently known clarification.

The Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences said that, “Roger Penrose was awarded the Nobel Prize in Physics for the discovery that black hole formation is a robust prediction of the general theory of relativity. Meanwhile, Reinhard Genzel and Andrea Ghez, who have jointly won the second half of the prize, have been awarded for the discovery of a supermassive compact object at the center of our galaxy”.

After Maria Goeppert, Donna Strickland, Marie Curie and Mayer – Andrea Ghez is the fourth woman to awarded Nobel Prize 2020 in Physics for his work.
