Almost 2 militants have been killed in a deadly encounter with the Indian Armed Forces in the Shupyan town of J&K, the authorities said. 1 Indian soldier was additionally died in the gunfight with militants while another soldier was wounded and he was taken to the Military’s 92 Base Hospital, Badami Bagh here and his condition is expressed to be steady.
Kashmir’s IGP Vijay Kumar stated that the experience in the South Kashmir’s Shopian which started on the 27th of March evening was done with the killing of 2 militants having a connection with Hizbul Mujahideen militant organization and LeT.
“2 destructive militants have been killed in the face-off. One of them Inatullah Sheik was doing terror activity since 2018 and had gone to Pak in 2018 that year for militant training. He returned a week ago as it were. He was with Hizbul Mujahideen”. In the interim, one Gun alongside an M4 carbine assault rifle and an AKM rifle has been found from the militants.
The cops stated that a team of Jammu Police, 34 Rashtriya Rifles, and Central Reserve Police Force dispatched a joint search operation after the information of the existence of militants in the region. He also stated that “Operation party was fired upon by the concealing terrorist as the searching party suspected the place and the fire was back bringing about a deadly face-off.”
