One month after the Kerala state government somewhat resumed schools, 190 understudies and seventy-five teachers staff tested positive for Coronavirus at two govt schools in Malappuram city.
On 7th January, DHO authorities stated that around one hundred fifty understudies and thirty-four instructors of the govt School, Maranchery, tested positive for the coronavirus. Then, thirty-nine understudies and thirty-six educators tested positive for coronavirus at the Vanneri High School in Ponnani.
“More than six hundred understudies of the school were exposed to infection testing after an understudy had tested positive of coronavirus before the end of last week. All the understudies who were tested positive had a place with 10th class and friend of the understudy who tested positive of coronavirus first,” the authority added.

This has incited DHO authorities to ask school officials in the area to keep additional vigil and carefully execute the Covid convention. Both the schools have been shut for cleaning and the specialists are examining the coronavirus case.
